La Roux...

La Roux, what can you say. Some have tipped her to be the big thing of '09 and some have tipped ex pop idol turned hipster, Little Boots. So far we have only one winner in this race...

With remixes from big players already this year bulstering what in my opinion are great electronic pop songs, she is going intergalactic faster than latest Mars prob! This latest remix I have is from Midfield General, who are well known amongst the dance music community, yet have maybe never reached the dizzy heights there productions deserve.

La Roux - Bulletproof (Midfield General Remix)

With the looping sample of La Rouxs, now instantly recognisable, voice kicking things of, it slowly builds into a warm up DJs wet dream. Rather than being the peak time remix that Skreams, 'In For the Kill', remix became this is an almost progressive yet energy packed track. The splicing and looping of La Rouxs voice over the later introduced pounding bassline, means that this track never gets boring and the huge breakdown around 1.30 from the close, is hands in the air stuff.

Ideal for a few tracks for the main event rocks the place, as it delivers yet doesnt give to much to early!
